The Ultimate Packing List for Your Camp Everyday Stay

← All Posts·Mariah Huffman·January 20, 2026

After hosting hundreds of families over the years, we've gotten pretty good at knowing what makes a camping trip go smoothly — and what gets forgotten! Here's our curated packing list for a great stay at Camp Everyday Winona.

The Essentials

  • Tent or RV (obviously!) — check your equipment before you leave home
  • Sleeping bags and pillows rated for the season
  • Flashlights or headlamps with extra batteries
  • First aid kit
  • Sunscreen and insect repellent
  • Rain gear — the bluffs can get unexpected showers

For the Campfire

We provide the fire ring — you bring the fun. Pack:

  • S'mores supplies (non-negotiable)
  • Long roasting sticks
  • Cast iron skillet for campfire cooking
  • Firewood is available for purchase on-site, or bring your own

For the Kitchen

  • Camp stove and fuel (or use the fire!)
  • Cooking utensils, plates, and cups
  • Biodegradable dish soap
  • Cooler with ice (ice available on-site)
  • Food staples + your favorite camp recipes

Comfort & Fun

  • Camp chairs and a folding table
  • Hammock (we have hammock zones!)
  • Lawn games — cornhole, bocce, frisbee
  • Books, cards, or board games
  • Camera or extra phone storage for those bluff views

Don't Forget

  • Pet supplies if bringing your furry friend
  • Kids' bikes and helmets
  • Reusable water bottles
  • Extra layers for cool evenings — even in July, nights in the bluffs can be crisp

See you at the campfire!
